ABOUT SAVE A KILL SHELTER DOG RESCUE
💛We are a Non-Profit Unincorporated Trust Association with a small team of ladies who are all unpaid volunteers.
💛Our rescue was set up at the beginning of 2022 after years of being involved in dog rescue.
💛We fully fundraise for every aspect of our rescue.
💛All dogs are rescued from public kill shelters or saved from harm on the streets.
💛We have rescued from Romania and Egypt.
All our dogs currently in Romania are:
🐾behaviour assessed
🐾health assessed ,
🐾Deflead,
🐾dewormed,
Blood tested for:
🐾Heartworm,
🐾Lyme,
🐾Anaplasma
🐾Ehrlichia,
🐾Babesia,
🐾Leishmaniasis,
🐾Brucellosis,
🐾Giardia,
Vaccinated for:
🐾Rabies
🐾Lepto
🐾Neutered/Spayed (unless too young/old)
🐶 Indoor Rescue Center
🐶Socialised with other dogs
🐶Human interaction
🐶Lead/Harness Training
🐶Travel to the UK direct from the rescue centre, other rescues unfortunately have to move their dogs to holding places such as Traces centres as their shelters aren’t regulated.
🐶Travel with the same team that have. when looking after them.
🐶All dogs are rescued from kill shelter directly to the rescue centre with onsite vet who assess on arrival and throught its stay with us, not having to go anywhere else

🐶The centre is an Approved Defra Importer
🐶We are a Defra Approved Importer
🐶 We use the Rescue Centres Regulated climate controlled purpose built animal transport to the UK belonging to the Rescue Centre
🐶 ALL our dogs are in an Indoor facility with hands on caring team. Warm in winter cool in the summer.
🐶Extensive landscape land for dogs to explore outside
🐶Playground to play with no restrictions
🐶We can visit and live on site to assess our dogs ourselves.
🐶We offer full support from application through to settling a dog in its forever home.
🐶We offer Rescue Back Up
